A successful campaign for the expectations of the lions last time out managing to survive in the national league.
They left it very late to survive but a last minute equalser against Solihull Moors kept the lions up right at the death. As a result sent York City down.

As for the FA Trophy Guiseley made it slightly further reaching the second round. The lions' beat National league north side Chorley in the first round 1-0. In the second round National league north side Nuneaton Town proved too much for the lions. Guiseley lost 6-1 to bring there FA Trophy journey to an end.
