Looking ahead: Eastleigh

Eastleigh F.C

Manager: Richard Hill

Nickname: The Spitfires

Ground: Silverlake Stadium (5192)

Position last season: 15th

Last season:

A poor season by Eastleigh's standards last season. A bottom half finish was not what the spitfires' fans expected.
In the FA Trophy Eastleigh were knocked out in round 1 by Harlow Town away from home 2-0
As for the FA Cup it was a good campaign as Eastleigh reached the third round. It started with a brilliant win 6-0 against North Leigh. They then beat league side Swindon Town in the first round replay. Next up Eastleigh beat Halfiax Town. Brentford were just too much for the Spitfires in the third round.

History:

Eastleigh were formed back in 1946. Despite there 71 year history the Spitfires have never made it too the football league yet. The highest Eastleigh have ever finished is 4th in the national league. They did this in the 2013-14 season. The Spitfires' most recent trophy win was back in the 2013-14 season when they won the Conference south. Eastleigh have played at there current stadium since 1957. They have only ever played there home games at two stadiums.

We look forward to facing the spitfires' next season.
