A disappointing season last time out that saw Torquay just about survive against relegation by just three points.
In the FA Trophy the Gulls were knocked out in round one. Torquay faced Braintree Town. Braintree came out on top 2-0 at Cressing Road.
As for the FA Cup that also was a short campaign. Torquay came up against Woking. At Plainmoore the game ended in a draw and forced a replay. Woking came out on top in the replay 2-1.
History:
Torquay United were formed back in 1899. Since 1910 the Gulls have played there football at Plainmoore. Torquay's most recent trophy success was the conference premier play offs back in 2009.
We look forward to facing the gulls next season.
