Looking ahead: Aldershot Town

A very good season last time out for Aldershot making the play off semi finals. Losing only ten games last time out the Shots finished on a respectable 82 points. Aldershot went on to face Tranmere in the play off semi finals and went on to lose 5-2 on aggregate.
In the FA Trophy was a short campaign for the Shots. Aldershot faced East Thurrock United in the first round. The game finished 1-1 and went to a replay at the Recreation Ground. East Thurrock took it to extra time and came out on top 4-3 winners.
As for the FA Cup it was another short campaign. The Shots faced Eastbourne Borough in the last qualifying round. Aldershot lost out 2-1 and failed to reach the first round proper.
History:
Aldershot were formed in 1992. Throughout there 25 year history the Shots went through administration in 2013. Throughout there history Aldershot spent five seasons in the football league from 2008-2013. Mark Butler currently holds the record for the most goals for Aldershot. Along with this Jason Chewins holds the record for the most appearances.
