A mixed season for the whites that saw them narrowly miss out on the playoffs.
The whites missed out on the playoffs by just three points to Aldershot. Despite losing 15 games Dover finished the season on 79 points.
The White's FA Trophy campaign was a short one. Dover faced national league south side Dartford. After forcing a replay Dartford came out on top 2-1 winners at the Crabble.
There FA Cup run did not last much longer with Dover only reaching the first round proper. They forced League 2 side Cambridge United to extra time. The U's were just too much for Dover winning 4-2 after extra time.
History:
Dover were formed just 34 years ago in 1983. They have not had the most successful time of it only winning seven trophies in there history. Most recently being the Conference south playoffs back in the 2013-14 season. The white's highest ever finish was 5th in the National league in the 2015=16 season.
