Last time out the cards left it late to secure survival in the national league surviving by just three points. A difficult season for Woking. Despite this the cards still had one of the highest goal-scorers in the league. Gozie Ugwu scored 17 goals
As for the cup competitions the cards fell at the first hurdle in the FA Trophy losing 1-0 at home too Ebbsfleet United at home. Despite this Woking managed to reach the second round of the FA Cup. In the last qualifying round the cards beat Torquay United 2-1 in there replay. The first round saw the cards beat Stockport County 4-2 away from home. Woking came up against Accrington Stanley in the second round. They lost out 3-0 at the Kingfield Stadium.
History:
Woking were formed back in 1889.Throughout there 128 history the cards have won the FA Trophy a record equaling number of times. They first won the competition back in 1994 and then retained the trophy in 1995. Then they went on to win the FA Trophy again two years later in 1997. The Cards' most recent success was the Conference South back in the 2011-12 season.
