Position last season: 3rd (national league north) 


Last Season:

A successful season last time out for the shaymen,that resulted in promotion to the national league.
Halifax only lost ten games last time out and finished 3rd. They faced Salford City in the semi finals of the playoffs. Halifax came out on top on penalties and went on to face Chorley in the final. The shaymen came out 2-1 winners after extra time. 
In the FA Trophy Halifax failed to make the first round proper of the competition after losing out too Matlock Town 3-2 in there 3rd qualifying round replay. 
Halifax made it too the second round of the FA Cup where they fell short after losing in there replay to national league outfit Eastleigh. 

History: 

F.C Halifax Town were formed just nine years ago,this came after Halifax Town A.F.C. after they went in to administration,  There most recent cup success came in the 2015-16 season when they won the FA Trophy in the same season they got relegated from the national league. In there nine year history the shaymen have won six trophies.

We look forward to facing the shaymen next season.
