A successful season last time out for the bluebirds. Barrow ended up finishing 7th just outside the playoffs by just seven points. Throughout the season the bluebirds only lost 11 times.
As for the cup competitions Barrow reached the third round of the FA Cup on there road to the third round Barrow over came Tranmere Rovers, Taunton Town and Bristol Rovers. But the bluebirds came just short when they faced Rochdale in the third round at Holker Street.
In the FA Trophy the bluebirds made it too the fourth round. Barrow beat several teams such as Kidderminster Harries on there road to the fourth round but Tranmere Rovers were just too much for the bluebirds.
History:
Formed 116 years ago the bluebirds have a lot of history behind them. Including over 50 years in the football league. Barrow have played there home games at Holker Street for many years since 1910 in fact. The bluebirds have won several trophies throughout there history with the most recent being the Conference north title in the 2014-15 season. The highest league position the bluebirds have been in was 8th in the old division three.
