A difficult test tonight for Dean Keates' men as they face the heed at My Racecourse. 

Form:
Wrexham come in to the game on the back of defeat at the weekend against Dover. It's been a difficult start to the new season for Wrexham who have just 3 points after 3 games. The only victory for Wrexham was against Maidenhead United last week. Wrexham will be looking to bounce back tonight. 
As for Gateshead they come in to the game on the back of two successive wins. The heed have only lost one game this season and that was on the opening weekend against Woking. The last two games have been at home for the heed picking up all 6 points. 

Key men:
Wrexham: Scott Boden 

Boden Wrexham's striker is yet to score this campaign and will be hoping to get off the mark tonight. Boden is the key man in the reds attack. 
Sam Wedgbury: 
The midfielder has been vital in the reds midfield so far this season. Wedgbury will be key in controlling the midfield for Wrexham. 

Gateshead:
Russ Penn:  
The former Wrexham midfielder will be the key man in the heed midfield trying to break Wrexham down. 
Danny Johnson:
Johnson the Gateshead forward will be vital to the heed attack at the Racecourese. Johnson has scored one goal in the three games so far this season and will be looking to add to his tally tonight.
